The Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership (GHHP) Independent Science Panel (ISP) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and resourced applicants to conduct the project as part of the GHHP 2015 Science Program.

Phase 1 Community Waterway Citizen Science Program

GHHP sought proposals in November 2014 to develop a Citizen Science project with a focus in the Gladstone Harbour catchment, with community volunteers trained to undertake monitoring of the waterways and other natural resource management activities such as riparian plantings, litter clean ups, community stormwater education, and fish monitoring.

Conservation Volunteers Australia has been awarded the Phase 1 Community Waterway Citizen Science Program Project. The project will commence in January 2015 and finish in July 2015.
